AXIOM

How it works after you buy

For buyers. Last updated: July 29, 2026

AXIOM builds your agent, hosts it, connects it to your tools, and keeps it running. You never receive code, never deploy anything, and never maintain a server. This page is the whole picture, start to finish.

1. What you bought

Two things, on one checkout. A one-time launch fee that covers scoping, building, connecting, and getting the agent live. Then a monthly subscription that covers hosting, monitoring, patching, and keeping it working as the systems around it change.

The scope document you approved is the contract. Everything under "What AXIOM builds" is included. Everything under "Not included" is not. You can re-read it any time from your dashboard, and download it as a PDF.

2. The first seven days

Your agent is live within seven days of approval. In order:

  1. Onboarding. Right after payment you land on a short page that asks for access to the systems in your scope. This is the only step that needs you, and the clock effectively starts when it is done.
  2. Build. AXIOM authors the agent against your approved scope: what triggers it, what it reads, what it does, what it never does without asking.
  3. Verification. Before anything goes live it has to pass a typecheck, a set of behavioural evaluations written against your scope, a successful deploy, and a live response check. An agent that fails any of those is not called live.
  4. Live. It starts doing the job where you asked for it, in Slack, over text, on a schedule, wherever your scope says.

Every one of those steps posts to your progress timeline, so you are never guessing where it is.

3. Connecting your tools

Your agent needs to reach the systems in your scope. There are three ways that happens, and AXIOM picks whichever one your tools support:

You can revoke any of it, at any time, from the tool's own settings. If you do, the agent loses that access and says so rather than failing quietly.

4. Watching progress

Sign in and your dashboard lists every agent you have bought, its current status, and a dated timeline of what has happened to it. The same timeline carries anything you have asked for, so there is one shared record rather than a thread of email neither side can find later.

5. Revisions and change orders

These are different things and the difference is only ever about scope, never about how much work it is.

Revisions are included

A revision is a correction inside the scope you already approved. It got the tone wrong, it escalated something it should have handled, it is reading the wrong field. Ask from your dashboard. It costs nothing beyond your monthly, and there is no cap on asking.

Change orders are priced

A change order is something outside the approved scope. A new system to connect, a new job to do, a new place to deliver. AXIOM prices it through the same engine that priced the original: you get a scope and a fixed price before you pay, and you can walk away. If you accept, the one-time fee is charged once and any monthly increase is added to your existing subscription.

If you are not sure which one you are asking for, just ask. AXIOM will tell you it is included, or quote it, before anything is charged.

6. Volume, and what a run is

The launch fee is set by how hard the agent is to build. The monthly is set by how hard it is to run, which is a separate question. A simple agent used by an entire company costs more to keep alive than a complicated one used by three people.

A run is one time the agent wakes up and does its job. One scheduled check, one incoming message handled, one request answered. Not one word, not one model call, not one person.

Band Typical of Included
Small A few people, or a handful of times a day 1,000 runs a month
Team One team or department, or roughly hourly 10,000 runs a month
Org Company-wide, or effectively continuous 50,000 runs a month

Your band was set when your scope was priced, and it is printed on your scope document. If your usage settles above the included ceiling, AXIOM moves you to the next band with at least 30 days written notice to the email on your account. You can cancel before that takes effect instead, and nothing is billed retroactively for the period before the notice. There are no surprise overage charges on an invoice.

7. Billing, cards, and cancelling

The subscription is billed monthly. Payment is handled by Stripe, and AXIOM never sees or stores your card. From your dashboard you can open the billing portal to update your card, read past invoices, or cancel.

Cancelling stops the subscription at the end of the month you have already paid for. At that point the agent goes dark. AXIOM keeps the code and the hosting, which is what makes this a managed service rather than a handoff. Your data stops being processed when the agent stops running.

8. Signing in

There is no password. Enter the email you paid with at the sign-in page and AXIOM sends a link that signs you straight in. The link works once and expires shortly after it is sent, so an old one in your inbox is not a way into your account.

Use the same address you checked out with. That address is what your agents are filed under.
